Alcohol, Pills and Pot

People say pot is a gateway drug. I think the alcohol and cigarettes are the gateway drugs.
Those are the first "drugs" i first came in contact with.
Government has made so much money from our use of alcohol and cigarettes and our treatments for both, why change their pocketbooks from getting fatter! Why cant they just admit they made a mistake with marijuana and tell everybody the truth, they make tons of cash from us boozing up! That they are sorry for making so much money off of alcohol sales and treatment and sorry for killing us with their poisons, sorry our children are dying of alcohol and sorry that my grandpa died from cirrhosis of the liver from his years of drinking which started when he went into the war. He left a man and came back an addict which carried over until it killed him in 1988.

Is this what we want for our children? Nobody has ever died from marijuana!

I have smoked pot, not for medical purposes, but it has never sent me down the cocaine or heroin road. I have never done crystal meth or any other drugs.
My first drug was a Marlboro !

I have had an addiction to Zanex and over the years been put on Prozac, Valium and Klonopin due to stress from years of sickness. It took me weeks of going through withdrawal symptoms to get off the Klonopin, sweats, shaking, pain and nausea. It was a living hell laying in bed sweating and shaking from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet.

I am currently not on any prescription drugs. I don't drink( very rarely). I still fight my addiction to nicotine every day and wish I had never started smoking cigarettes!

Another problem of society today is overdosing on prescription pills! The fact that doctors don't care about the people anymore, only the money they are putting in their pockets. When I have to go to the doctors office, almost 90% of the time, i see a representative of the pharmaceutical company coming in to give the doctors more pills to try out on us! We are used as guinea pigs in the medical world.

Why is it nobody cares about the effects these pills have on our bodies? It is because of the profits of the pharmaceutical companies are making every year, lol, every day!!!

Why is it the doctors can give you "medicine" that have terrible side effects and are highly addictive? Money.

Why are doctors in control over our health when they don't care if we die tomorrow? Hell, they have so many patients they don't have time to see us or diagnose us properly and just feed us pills to control the symptoms but not to heal the problem, or even find out what that problem might be. They diagnose you with whatever might be going around at the time.

I have refused pills many times because the doctors just wanted to control my symptoms and send me home without coming to the conclusion of what the hell is wrong with me in the first place.
Doctors are very overrated and paid entirely to much for the quality of work they do!

Marijuana or Prescription Pills ?

On July 30, 2008 Rep. Barney Frank introduced a bill to remove federal penalties for personal possession of marijuana:

Here is some information on this Bill (
HR 5843 ) :
Info from: http://www.house.gov
An Act to Remove Federal Penalties for the Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults,” sponsored by U.S. Representative Barney Frank (D-Mass.), would eliminate federal penalties for the possession or not-for-profit transfer of small amounts of marijuana. The bill would remove federal penalties at the federal level only: (1) possession of up to 100 grams of marijuana and (2) the not-for-profit transfer of one ounce (28.3 grams) of marijuana. Additionally, this legislation would provide for a civil penalty of $100 for the public use of marijuana.

FEDERAL LAW IS BEHIND THE TIMES The federal government should remove the current conflict with state law and allow states to decide on these matters for themselves. Eleven states have laws that significantly reduce penalties for possession of small amounts of marijuana,1 in many cases providing for a mere civil fine.

Federal law should reflect the reality of the circumstances. Approximately 99% of marijuana arrests happen at the state and local level. Aside from a few isolated instances, the federal government generally does not arrest, prosecute, or even fine people for possession of “small amounts” of marijuana.

Law enforcement agencies should focus on the real criminals anyway. Given continuing special agent shortages at the DEA and the abiding threat of the violent criminal drug trade at the border, our scarce resources should be spent where they are most needed.

WHAT THE BILL WILL NOT DO

 It would not affect federal laws prohibiting the sale of marijuana for profit, import and export of marijuana, or manufacturing (cultivating) marijuana.

 It would not legalize major drug dealing or create obstacles for agents of the federal government seeking to prevent major drug dealing.

 It would not affect any state or local laws and regulations.

 It would not alter the legal status of marijuana as a Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 801 et. seq.).

The states are: California, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Oregon. This bill is in the first step in the legislative process. Introduced bills go first to committees that deliberate, investigate, and revise them before they go to general debate. The majority of bills never make it out of committee. Keep in mind that sometimes the text of one bill is incorporated into another bill, and in those cases the original bill, as it would appear here, would seem to be abandoned. Also, Bill HR 5842 Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act H.R. 5842 will help to ensure that medical marijuana patients in those states where medical cannabis legislation has been approved will no longer have to fear arrest or prosecution from federal law enforcement agencies. However, this proposal will only receive serious consideration if your elected officials hear an unmistakable message of support from their constituents.

Currently, twelve states -- Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington -- have enacted laws protecting medical marijuana patients from state prosecution. It’s time that we allowed our unique federalist system to work the way it was intended, and permit these states’ citizens and their representatives to enact laws permitting the medical use of cannabis, free from federal interference.

Hillary Clinton's view when asked about medical marijuana:

Others that support medical marijuana:
Montel and medical marijuana

Here are some quick facts about marijuana:

Here is some information I found about how Marijuana CAN kill :

Knowing everything we know about marijuana and how it helps people that are sick and in pain, why is it that people are so against it?
Maybe in their perfect life where they have perfect doctors and are cancer free. Or they don't have a parent with MS.
These issues don't directly affect their lives?
What do we do? Wish our sickness on others that haven't tasted the bitter reality of death and pain?
We want cures for all this sickness that cause our lives to be turned upside down, and until there are cures why is it we cant do what we feel is best for us to ease the pains of these diseases?
If they fought as hard for cures as they did to push newer better drugs that pass through the FDA like the diarrhea coming out of my ass, maybe we could fight some of these diseases!
Fight as hard for cancer research as you do for putting new pills on the market for bull shit.

The majority of these pills just cover up our symptoms anyway, they are not cures for anything.

Why are we forced to take pills our doctor gives us when we don't want the addiction and the side effects of those pills and treatments.
And until there are more effective ways of controlling our struggles of daily life, why cant we smoke a joint or take a hit off our pipe or bong? Were not bothering you or your life or anyone for that matter.

Who are they to control our futures and lives? We are puppets in society and our government are the ones pulling our strings telling us to live for them and do for them, when they do nothing for us. We work for them, we spend money for them, we support them and vote for them, we make the world go around. We are worked to death and treated like shit for the best part of our lives and then we die and our children continue on the cycle of life, if we are blessed enough to be able to have children.
